All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Indeed, you should see the other box of BD lights I have ready to install.
I will post it up once I am finished. It’s gonna require 2 Bantams and will be glorious!

Give us a call if you haven't already

    800-422-5292

We are happy to diagnose the issue on the S8. Is it possibly the section furthest from the power cord? If so, is it flickering with the vehicle running? Often times we have customers running too thin of wiring. This does result in the section furthest from the cord flashing

I have JD checking on the issue, its the 3 sections after the wired section that is flickering with the second one next to the corded section flickering the most. Flickering stops or maybe randomly (1per/min) happening while the truck is running. Using 12 ga wiring.

Baja Designs XL80s aren't overkill are they?

I might replace the lenses in the future but honestly I'm not sure I'll need it. These lights are so beastly that any near field surface will be covered in light.

    Thanks again @genghis71

    PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT

    XL80, Work/Scene

The XL80 Work/Scene light puts out a show stopping 9,500 lumens. Ideal for illuminating work spaces, camp sites, and anything in between. The XL80 Work/Scene outputs an extremely smooth 120° pattern that projects well past the 400ft mark, while providing usable light to a minimum of 250ft. As this is not a distance oriented pattern and we do not consider suitable for driving.

The XL80 Work/Scene is offered with its own specific bracket that is designed to provide maximum adjustability. Similar to the rest of the premium members of the XL series, the XL80 offers an optional 20% dimming feature. As always, Baja Designs offers a 30 Day Satisfaction Guarantee, and Limited Lifetime Warranty.

    Hell Yes!!
    Those are single control yes?
@Baja Designs - dual control s8 in the future? Or is that something that the Onyx has that separates the two lines?

Single cord. We don't have plans for a Dual Control S8 but that could possibly change down the road. It would involve machining a new end cap for one side and a little extra labor but could be done. I'll reply here if we start looking into offering an S8 Dual Control. As of now, it's not planned.
