My new ones in the box have zerks where the bushings are, and the ones in my truck so not. But they are both OEM Bushings.

I bought my JBA arms last year and they have never squeaked. If UCA's, even my old uniball allpro arms, are properly maintained and greased they wont squeak. If the JBA arms are squeaking they were either incorrectly installed, they were not properly greased during install, and/or they have not been regularly greased.

Even the SPC and OEM arms will squeak if they are not properly greased before installing.

I second this, mine have never squeaked nor have I had any issues whatsoever since installed

Just ordered a pair of these and am planning on the install. I have read both cutting the bolt and bending the fender. Anyone have pros and cons for both? Fairly new truck and am not totally sold on bending flimsy metal. I will also be attempting solo any tricks for that? Thanks for all the help.

I bent mine, bent it back and the inner liner flap covers it. It is a 2nd gen though, not sure if the same would apply to a 3rd.

Bending it is pretty darn easy. Get the sheet metal vice grips I linked that are in the bottom under “products discussed”. That, a second person and some patience is all you need. And a pry bar.

Prybar is for spreading the uca a little bit to get that inner washer in. Second person is nice for tapping the bolt in from the engine bay, while a second person guides it through the uca. On a second gen it’s easier. I did it alone.

I will be doing this on my own as well. Don’t have a lot of options. I will also be swapping out some coils using the floor jack method. I guess I will switch out UCA then separate lower a arm to decompress coil. Seems like a two step process sense I don’t have an assembled coilover.

Sounds like you have some work ahead of you. Keep me posted on any tips of how you get the arems in on your own . Good luck. ;)

Yah. I installed the lift about a month ago and decided I wanted taller coils and uca’s. Probably a few weeks out on attempt. We shall see.

Did mine solo yesterday. I found that folding the fender metal back helps a ton on the upper bolt. I used a ratchet strap to hold the spindle in place. Next was holding the arm with one hand. Slid the thick washer on the bolt and jammed it in between the body and ac line. Took a screw drive and wedged it in the bushing and pried out to get the bin washer line up and pushed the bolt thru the Bush and first thin washer. Same for the next yhin washer just pry on the Bush with out causing damage just enough to get the washer stuck in between the mount and bushing then you can just squeeze it till it lines up.
