This is our last new car.
It has the variable trans so in a way it’s slips all the time..
Doesn’t really shift. They program shift feel into the throttle so it doesn’t sound or feel like a snowmobile.
I brought home “my” computer from the shop and programmed the new keys they lost and the manuals.
Shut off all the extended seat belt timers and dash indicators. Killed the DTRL.
I did leave the lane assist beep on in case I wanted to fuck with people.
Now she needs to read the manual. (Me included )

She is not use to all the bells and whistles so a little intimidated.

I was playing with all the buttons on the wheel and the paddle shifters and she asked
If she had to do all that.. lol

Will program her phone today and we will go for a ride.
I just want her to be happy...

 

Good morning everyone. Gorgeous day yesterday, rain moving in today. Snow is a possibility next week, I new it was to good to be true.

 

I understand making her happy.
I understand the transmission but on old one I had to drive it to dealer, barely made it.

Yea I played with Subie last weekend and got phones synced up with it.

 

It was awesome here but of course I had to work. Could have gotten so much done.
Should be ok enough to pound out the trailer boards today. Just have to watch paint dry for a while. Lol..

Got a new spring project I did not need. Big oak tree on the neighbors yard tipped over and now is in my yard. I hate trees that don’t stay upright.

Yes free firewood, butt it’s really not free. A lot of work, gas, oil, sharp chains,and pain meds. It’s funny with these oaks, this is the third one. Out of the blue, they just fall over. When it gets light out, I’ll take some pics. This one is a widow maker, it’s not quite down.

 

I hear ya. We had an old hackberry at old place leaning towards house and it was already splitting. I cleaned up a lot of it myself and called “the guy” to finish

Not your fault he can’t train his tree to stay in his yard.
