Thanks for the amazing write up!! Couple follow up questions: Are you referring to the Falken or Goodyear tires? Also, did you stay with stock tire size? Thanks!

How much weight difference are the falkens from stock tires? How are they in snow? I’m considering a more aggressive tire but don’t want the mpg to suffer too much. Also might be moving to Colorado so snow performance is a must.

My falkens have been awesome in snow / ice / slop. They have taken me through a lot of stuff and never one have they let me down. There’s been a few occasions where i thought for sure I was going to get stuck and they walked right through. I’ve got just shy of 50,000 miles on mine and they were still just as good this winter as last. Zero issues here. Highly recommend.

If you get the SL rated falkens, they are very close to the stock weight. My fuel economy was unchanged and they are quieter on road than my stock tires were.

Mine have been great in snow / mud / etc. I’ve been all over the country with them and never had any issues.

Awesome! What size would you recommend for stock rims and no lift?

I’m running factory size 265/70/16 but you can go up to 265/75/16 with no lift if you want.

I was/still am a huge Toyo fanboy and but I bought a set of Falkens just to try them out. They have been perfect and were a massive improvement off road with no noticeable impact on road vs the stock tires. I don’t think I’ll run another tire.

The Wildpeaks have been great on my truck, no balancing issues and the price was inexpensive.

you got upsold on a load of bullshit. The K02's have had WAY more issues with balancing. This thread is literally the first time I've read anything negative about the wildpeaks.

It's also funny that every time there is a balancing issue on ANY tire, a brand the shop carries magically works...

Damn, and I thought I got a good price. Was that with install? I also buy the DT warranty certificates. Seems a small price to pay for piece of mind.

I have Wildpeaks myself and love them. My brother-in-law just put on some Ultraterrains on his Tundra and they look great and has low drive noise as well.
