Do you work with Heavy Equipment? If so, share pictures and show us what you have.

I like the haul truck! What material are you working with?

80 ton grove. That’s about the biggest we work with (not mine). We do have an f750 and 12” chipper, but that’s play stuff compared to some of the rigs above...E18D6CF8-6211-4C62-9DFF-E06F2B314867.jpg

Cool, Grove makes good stuff! We had several and they were largely trouble free. We had an RT518 but we replaced it with a Rough Terrain Sany. We've already dumped a boat-load of money into the Sany just to keep it in service...

That picture makes me a little nervous. Is this a normal routine for your crane? I don't have the balls to swing from the hook.

Pretty standard. I usually just tie into the ball (I learned old school) with two attachments. Most guys nowadays will have a secondary tie in above the ball. OSHA frowns on any lifting of personnel into a tree, but if I’ve got 125’ of stick, I’m definitely not climbing up, ha!

I wasn't gonna mention OHSA as I hear enough about them at work... I don't blame you one bit. Let's do things the easy way!

Busted CV boots and lots of squeaks.
Not a big machine by any means but it's mine. 96' Case 1840 uniloader. Just replaced all filters and fluids this weekend.
Cool thread. I love seeing what people work with. Mine is just for around the house and some job site detail.

That's a cool machine! The skid steers are very handy and allow you to make a little $$ on the side, if you are so inclined. Thanks for posting up!

The haul truck is a 773, (50 ton). We're crushing limestone. I've been working with heavy equipment in construction and mining for over 40 years now. I'm kind of semi-retired now, the loader is my machine. I load customers trucks and run the scalehouse.

This is the one i work with the most at work, stole the photo off the web but what a machine. Kubota SVL 95-2. All hand controls, no feet. Beautiful self level feature. Pull Two bolts and the cab lifts for maintenance. What a rig. Wayy better than the old bobcats ive been driving for twenty years.

These newer skid steers are much easier to repair and to operate.
