Sorry I am still new and learning all the lingo and things here and with my truck... I used the search tab at the top but didn't see the answers I'm looking for so hope it isn't a double thread.

I have a 2019 Off-Road. I took it out yesterday in real mud for the first time. My question is when I stop and I am in 2 wheel trying to get the tires to spin and sling some mud around or do donuts the power seems to make a clicking noise and the power cuts out or breaks come on without me pushing them... I push the button at the top near the sunroof to turn traction off and then a light comes on saying AUTO LSD but also shows the sign with truck and tire marks saying off. The only way to get it to say TRAC off is to put it in 4 wheel high which makes it pull out of the mud and not do donuts as much.

What am I doing wrong here? IS there a way to turn traction off completely in 2 wheel to do donuts and stuff in the mud and only use 4 wheel when I need to get unstuck?

Again, sorry if these are stupid questions.

Hold the button up top for a few seconds. When you release it you should get the TRAC dummy light on the dash and you're good to go! I believe it turns back on over 30 mph though.

    It’s a confusing system.

Thanks guys! I will try that! I still got it muddy but could have had more fun... I will try it again tomorrow if it rains tonight.

And that did work. I held it for about 10 seconds and it went to TRAC OFF. Thanks guys! :)
