I’m not talking about the truck.....im talking about the owners. “Leaps and bounds” for sure, other than the fact it just isn’t cool, which is a hard thing to define.

The 5th Gen runner is a geek vehicle. That’s why it’s always “the wife’s” vehicle in a two-Toyota family. The fella in the house still wants to be cool, the missus don’t really care.

A lift kit. Installed, removed and sold. Worst decision I met in a long time. Won’t mention the brand.

Quoting another member (I can’t remember who): “285s look like balloons on these trucks”. After reading that, I’m starting to agree.

Your sport must have been a Monday or Friday truck.

I wouldn't say I necessarily regret getting an auto because my wife can drive it if needed, but had I known that 6 months after buying it I would go from a 50 mile commute loaded with traffic to a calm 10 mile commute, ya I would have got a manual.

Mind me asking why? I've considered it but the price is steep for a mail order tune IMO.

I bought it before 0058/0062. That Toyota update stole ovtunes thunder. Does OVTune help? Probably. Does it live up to all the circle jerking going on in that thread? Nope.
