dark grey and light grey look great. black hides it too much. All Red looks bad. the red outline came out really good.

I did a free power upgrade yesterday,

I reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery for 20 minutes.

I have done this before but not for 20 minutes, more like 5 minutes and I think the ram was actually never cleared because my scanguage was working after I did the reset before.

This time I disconnected the battery and came back probably 20 minutes later and reconnected the battery and the scanguage turned on but had no info displayed.

Apparently the scanguage will not display any info until the ECU is reset.

It took 75 miles of driving and then the scanguage was working again which let me know
    the ECU was completed.

Truck now is getting 21 degrees in timing on full throttle where is was at only 18 degrees before.

Apparently 5 minutes wasn’t clearing the ram before with the battery disconnected

I just mounted my DIY 270-degree awning.

i used tarp material for the fabric, rip stop was too expensive for this project. Aluminum C-Channel for the support. the poles are made from electrical conduit. I bought the bag because I didn't want to sew it myself.

i based the design on a $1400 (at the time) awning a couple of years ago. the price of this same awning has gone down significantly since then. i had all the supplies sitting in the garage for almost 2 years, i got started about a month ago. it sucks that i can now buy a new one for a few hundred bucks more than i spent on materials but atleast i can say I built it not bought it.

A few things going on. Got my injectors back and put the truck back together. Decided to do the Big 3. Ordered wire. Also picked up a new battery.

    I have mods
It was around $865 USD plus shipping. All going to vary slightly on your location and the current exchange rate for the Canadian to US dollar. Also on what you order. I got it with the single swing out tire carrier, side hoops and receiver hitch. They have a dual swing out setup and you can remove the hoops and receiver. They also have an aluminum version.

Can someone with an ultraguage, torque or other like devices do a WOT pull for me an tell me what the lowest afr is. I think 01-04 trucks are all capable of this. Trying to see if 12.06 is the lowest it reads. Would prefer it to be the 3rz with torque app but I assume it would be similar with the 5vz and other obd devices. Thanks!

Adjusted the parking brake so it works properly. The issue was the rear shoe adjustment. They were apparently pretty far from the drums. With the new equipment and adjustment, damn do I have brakes now, both service and parking!

I did that today as well. In addition, I removed the snow tires and put the All Terrains back on. Also replaced the AFR sensor and left the battery unplugged for 30+ minutes. Tomorrow I'll do a commute to work and then fill up to see what my new highway gas milage is.

I paid my stealership $45 to do the exact same thing while I ate dinner on Friday. Brakes feel great and I no longer feel like Im gonna rip the parking brake handle out of the dash.

Spray paint will fix that door latch, and you need to check the fuse for that window.

Power steering pump, Steering rack, Tie rods, Radiator cap, Thermostat, New radiator, magnets to hold the fuel door closed, new starter drum/cylinder, dash lights changed to red, replaced all carpet in the cab. Not real “mods”, but all work
Exactly why I’m a bigger fan of roll em up and down yerself windows. Especially in 1st gen cuz I can reach the other side easily from my seat
