Good to know . Never had a truck before that so many bearings go bad in less than a hundred thousand miles before. I will probably go for them after some more research.

I did notice the left side drum was a little greasy would that be a bad seal and bearing?

very well could be . bad bearing could let the axle move around more than normal and screw up an old seal

I just ordered a stethoscope so I can listen a little more accurately

With a stethoscope is how my mechanic figured it out. Unless you have a press and you’re good at pressing bearings, I’d go with the dealer or Toyota mechanic. Rear bearings are not for the weekend meachanic on these trucks.

Well lets just say, I don't have my own press at this time but watch how fast I gain access to one if it turns out I need one. I can't remember the last time I took one of my trucks to a mechanic to be fixed. I don't accept defeat easily when it comes to fixing my own rides. Its kind of a sense of pride and accomplishment I have developed over the years. I too will fix this when the time comes. Being retired I may not even do it on the week end

I have decided that after reading all the posts on vibration and me owning a 2012 Tacoma that also has it...VIBRATION comes standard

I've also accepted this fact after almost a year of owning my truck. It's a truck, it vibrates/creaks and crushes snow and mud.

Being a truck is no excuse for any of that
