Oh no!!! I am in big trouble! I just got some rear billies. And I was trying to install them. And now the person I got them from had sent the wrong nuts to go on the tops. He sent the oem nuts instead of the bilsteins nuts. And theres is a obvious diameter difference! Arg! So now I can't get the one test side off my truck since it is stripped.

So am I out the door 80 bucks now. Do i just take a sal-saw and cut it off? Or is there a way.

Do you mean that you tried putting the OEM nut on the billy shock and now the Billy is stripped?

I put the nut that came with the billies on it and i now compared the oem nut and they are exactly the same.

So I think the factory nuts were shipped on the billies.

    :(

    Sorry for my confusing wording.

Well the one side of the truck has the bilstein on. And I started tightening it and now its just locked up and keeps spinning and I can't loosen it or tighten it. I used the allen wrench at the top of the billies but it also stripped since the nut was the wrong size. I shouldn't have even tightened the nut after I realized it wasn't turning easy.

I am about to get some bolt cutters and get the dang thing off.... :(

    Lesson learned.

Get one of these and bust the nut off (I know...I know) before you hack away at the Billy
