What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Ice fell off the roof so New hood with the skwep. Only cost me $100 comprehensive insurance. Meso red maps and Cali raised amber fogs installed the other day. Installed the Cali raised light bar today

 

Where did you get the hood struts? Is it possible to just mount 1x?

Been watching my property lot start flooding today and more rain on the way. First pic is a creek that's usually ankle deep and you can't see the water move. Crosses over to my section if the island. Main river is on other side of island.


Second pic shows water flowing where there usually is none.

Last is pic from deck showing main river. 3 times wider than usual and stacking large trees against large rocks.


Up another foot after 2hrs.

I temporarily had only one while I was messing with the other and it supported it, but the hood is not very rigid and was flexing down on the opposite side. So probably not recommended.

 

Installed Pop&Lock and @KTJO 4x4 plug-and-play harness this weekend.

 

Thank you. It’s just something I came up with. It took a little welding and grinding but I tjink it came out nice. I recently started getting into metal fabrication and it seemed like a good, useful project.

 

I'm wondering if I could mount one in the middle since the driver's side is quite occupied with electronics.

Could someone confirm adding the hood shock on the driver's side would not interfere with the relay box I mounted right on top of the fuse box?

Well...hit 10k miles on the last ice fishing trip of the season. Still lots of ice and snow in Northern Maine. 3 feet of ice.

When the hood is closed, how low does it go down on the side of the fender. This is my issue. See pic.

I would think they go down as far as the bottom of the black plastic trim piece after the mount. It looks like they will fit.
