That is a nice color combo. I've always liked the 2 tone look on the Lexus. That price is even more attractive.
You know how to inspect them well right? Like make sure all body panels have the OEM Vin tag on them, look at all of the fender retaining bolts under the hood-you're looking to see if any of paint is removed from head of bolts cause that tells you they've had to remove the fender, etc. Look for the gaps between the panels to all be PERFECT. The only way those are ever not perfect spaced is if someone has removed them. And you don't want it if it has been in accident prior. Trust me. Worth an extra G or two for perfect oem body panels.

 

What about engine stuff? What questions should i ask

 

We have end link bushings? Just thought there were the links, then the bushings on the bar itself.

 

Dude Yota engines are bullet proof and those V8s are so easy on the oil that as long as oil changes were done at least every 7k miles it'll be fine. Remove oil cap and look for crap built up under it, stuff builds up under the cap if lots of short drives and few long drives. That's hard on engine and it doesn't get time to burn off the little condensation. Pull the auto tranny dipstick and make sure no dark or burn marks, like when transmission overheats it can mark it. Make sure coolant is full, etc.

 

Get stiffer coils then

Yeah if you already know that stuff, then yeah. I'd listen to known strong good engines run. I'd drive lots of them so you know how it's supposed to feel, etc...

 

Must be a thing on the earlier tacos. Mine has no such bushings.

 

I just put mine back on last week. Lol

Older 1st gens did, 01-04 doesn't.
