Yeah I read the whole thread. The cardboard guy was an ass. Just like so many products on here if you don't like them just go to a different thread. I will say this if 6geart444e says something pay attention. Anthony (formerly PSUtaco) knows his shit and has some threads that are very educational. He is generally a fairly soft spoken and humble but he has his opinions and sometimes he can get riled up. He is a vey intelligent young man

Yeah I know who he is. We have conversed. More or less I picked his brain a bit and listened. I can tell he has been doing stuff for a long time and has a really good understanding of things. Don't know why he was permabanned under the old screen name then allowed to come back under the new one. I can see him telling someone to f*** off though.

I believe it was for something just like that. He has a thread on here I was just trying to find where he shows you step by step how to get rid of the add system even broken down with part numbers. At the time he wrote it manual hubs for these trucks weren't even in existence yet.

Didn't work on my truck but went over to @TacoGoonin place and helped him with his lift finally. Everything went extremely smoothly and it turned out good. Still got some adjustments to do on the front coilovers.

Also did a little CMC on his truck well a pretty aggressive on. Gonna leave it open for the time being then decide after the alignment the route to take as far as plating or chopping a bit more.

Truck looks great! Good choice in tires also. I hope he likes it it should handle pretty good. Did y'all do any other armor besides the sliders?

He has 285/75R17 so a little over 34s. I talked him into the STT Maxx :D. No more armor today. He has some more to go on but that'll be for another day.

The chops I've done for them I usually have to remove the whole end of the mount

I actually cut this all the way back to the frame then replated with 3/16. Look at the taper on the end after I replated it. This is on my truck

Are the leafs the right way? theres a bracket on the one side that looks like it would've been a good spot to bolt the brake cable to.
I could be wrong though. Don't know much about it.

Yes they are there is another alignment piece that we had to leave off because Icon didn't supply a larger one with the AAL

Mine are loud AF now that they are more than half worn. I will probably go with them again however.

35’s, eventually, will be STT Pros though.

Depending on how testing goes and the alignment this is more than likely the route we'll take.

I got in contact with red goat fab today, to hell with chopping the mount. I’m just gonna relocate the bitch and be done with it.

I probably have around 45k on my maxx's now. They have been great and just now getting a little wap wap out of them. I'm thinking another set I would love to do the 285/75's a little concerned about a drop in performance with pulling the camper and on the wheels I have i would need whell spacers most likely to clear the UCA's
