    Since skids and sliders, I was averaging in the low 15s with cruise control, but i drove to Fredericksburg and back yesterday, over 300 miles on one tank, averaging 17.0-something without using cruise control.

    Thats not too bad, thats about what i used to get. I regeared and now i get about 14 on the hwy if i go 80. If i go 70-75 i can get about 15.5

    I'm honestly surprised it's as good as it is with the bumper and armor. I hear about purple getting 14 all the time, and only get that after driving aggressively. What gears are you running? I'm thinking about 4.56 gears with front locker on the future.

    Im running 4.10s on 265/65/17s and im supercharged. Im surprised the mileage is as good as it is

    If youre going to regear adding a locker at the same time is a good idea since youre already paying for the labor

    If it wasn't legal to drive they couldnt list it for sale. It probably has front apron damage, it may not steer straight, weird tire wear possibly.

    The bank wont finance a salvage car.

    Sometimes there will be a DOT or state patrol sticker on the door jamb stating that it has been inspected and deemed safe for on road use..
