Slept for an hour on top of the skid plates, laying in the bolts and all. Until the temps got low and we were freezing, then we had to make a fire and chill there. Not the most glamorous part of racing for sure but a reality

Took more off than I put on again tonight. Pretty soon it will be on the rotisserie.....

Glad the floor under the ramps were not disgusting with grime. The car has been on them since September of last year 20190407_210400.jpg

Harry Louge is about the only real country music singer I will listen too. He's local and I saw him last year at Country Thunder. Dude puts on a good show and it always helps to have an on-board boat motor that makes margaritas.

If I listen to any other country these are the only two guys I'll listen too. Not very serious music but funny as hell.

If you are talking about how nasty he gets. About the same as Wheeler. I think Wheeler is really trying to do something while Scuzz is just being stupid and having fun. Scuzz is definitely more 'comedy' based music if that makes any sense.

Got the oil tree's old gasket off after 4 days. All clean and reinstalled. Just gotta keep chipping away little by little.

When you are done come over and pull the engine in the Firebird and do the same thing for me! That engine is looking nice!

Can't believe i'm about to talk the wife out of glamping for her birthday. Turns out I can book a detached cabin with private deck and red rock views with a king bed for a fair amount less than staying in one of the tepees at the resort.

MT stuff, RTT stuff, the usual.
Did you ever used to go to Moonshine Willies back when he sang every weekend? That place was a damn fun time.

Paid off the truck today, 51k miles, and math wise I’m doing an average of 2k miles a year now. So.... the question is how many years can I live payment free versus getting a 4Runner now hah.

    Thanks!

I don't blame you one bit. More room, better seating position, and a plush ride. It's become the designated road trip vehicle.

Well, if you're only doing 2k a year. You'll have that 4runner for the rest of your life. Might as well just buy it now, and save thousands in inflation.
