Yeah I'm most likely going to be buying one I'm going to the shooing range this weekend and renting a few Glocks. But I'm really liking the 30. I just wanted to hear some Input Likes or dislikes with the Glock brand.

I have yet to read a negative reviews on this gun.

That's my thoughts as well I just want it for home protection,Target shooting and to carry as a back up on Hog hunts.

The size and the pistol and the caliber pretty much have me sold.
    It's small compact and it's a 45acp.

also might want to look at one of the 9's alot less expensive to shoot unless you reload.

I don't shoot hundreds of rounds so I'm not worried about the price of the cartridges I just the love the stopping power of the 45acp.

The G30 is a good compromise in size between the G21 and G36. It is easy to handle and not too big. The 45acp is a good round, easy to shoot and has plenty of stopping power. The Glocks might not be pretty but they are rugged and reliable.

    Just my 2¢

    I'm not looking for beauty I'm not a collector I'm a shooter.

I'm going to rent the G21 also to see if I want to get a full size or a Subcompact.

I was gonna get a compact originally because i dont have huge hands - but the g31 full size actually fit nicely

Glocks are great. I love my glock19. Went with the 9 for the cheaper rounds (and so the wife could shoot easier). For stopping power just get some hollow point 124gr ammo and they'll be put down fairly easily.
