Just found out that 1/2 gallon of water spilled in the back seat of my wife’s truck. Spent the last three hours pulling out the back seat and carpet and going nuts with a shopvac. It happened last Friday. I was wondering what the mildew smells were from. I know what I’m doing this week.

Pretty good for a needed wet weekend. Stuff to do got a good start last week, and weather looks like it will let me do home, yard, and TRUCK stuff next week, if I get off my ass!
How is your life, and wife's business going? I signed on for email, but I don't see much - which could easy be my computer.

Daimler bailed like a decade ago. Chrysler tried to stand alone for a few years after the bailout and had to get saved again by Fiat. That's where we are now.
The Kaiser, Willy's Overland, and AMC years will always be Jeep's golden age. But the Jeep brand is a whore and has been owned by iirc 6 different manufacturers.

 

Good morning Family. After a very long break due to work, and life, and what not, finally able to log on and sort of get caught back up. Sorry I missed everyone at CnC yesterday. I was at work, and thinking it was later in the month. Hope to see everyone later this month for a couple of the meet ups and what not.

My first cherokee ('89) had a gm tilt steering column. And the ever lovely and fun to work on RENIX system.. Buying parts for that thing, was always fun. Buy for a Jeep parts where higher, buy the same part but for a GM vehicle slightly cheaper.... the trans mount came to mind as one I saved about 20 dollars on when I replaced it.
