    Ive always used a ground tent. Swore id never get a rtt. But i have a family of 5 now and we have tried everything. We even have the gazelle t4plus. Doesnt matter how fast you can set the tent up, the other stuff is what takes forever. Weve tried air mattresses, cots and just being in a bag on the ground. None of these have worked for us and they take FOREVER to pack back up and get into the truck. A rtt might take longer than a tent to set up, but the fact that we dont have to roll up sleeping bags or put cots away, or stuff that tent back in that way to small bag. Im building a trailer and putting a big rtt on top of it. Might take a min longer to set up but i promise our tear down will be faster.
