I think "sober" needs to be in quotation marks.

That was a lot of bourbon from the motherland .

30 different whiskies over 2 and a half days, not to mention the repeats.

Sounds like a hell of a weekend. Last time I did stuff like that there are parts of the parties to this day I do t remember and had to be filled in by friends who had their own memory issues. :)

Don’t worry if you miss a pic of a cook @Misplaced Nebraskan probably took one for you.

I’m still trying to figure out how he takes them when he wasn’t even there.

Close, but not quite. I'll get the pic and share a quick story when I get a minute. It isn't BBQ related in the least, but we're like a family in here, right? ;) :D

I soak my corn for a couple of hours before throwing it in the fire. I prefer it IN the fire instead of on. But do it both ways. Grew up soaking sweet corn thrown in a burlap bag thrown in a lake or creek sometimes overnight. Then throw them directly into a campfire. Haven't seen a burlap bag in years though, feed bags are plastic now :annoyed: Grill works too.

The burnt parts are the best tasting believe it or not

And don't forget the capsteak to go with it :anonymous:

Got mine from Owens also, they are one of only 3 or 4 places that sell the orignial.

Well hell ya break it in on wings!

Ya I usually soak mine 2-3 hours before it goes on. That was some darn tasty corn we had last night, can't wait till the mid-west sweet corn season hit's mid to late summer. That some of my favorite.

We are planning to do wing's this weekend on the smoker.

My method of buttering corn was shown to me YEARS ago. Get a good piece of bread load it up with butter and then put the corn on it and slide the corn around on the buttered bread. Get's max amount of butter on the corn then you also have some awesome buttered bread to eat afterwards. :)
