It's a popular spot but seeing we'd go up there on a Friday we should be good to go

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
X2 never been there. Sounds like a great place.
Another cool area for a trip, is off Hwy 11 Cherokee Foothills PKWY.
There are multiple places to camp. Have you ever been to Lake Jocasee? ?

Well it's a pretty tight race and it looks like Memorial Day weekend is it. But I know a lot of people already have plans for that weekend. So I could be up for a Cinco de Mayo weekend camping trip

Pretty sure we'd go to the Lake Blue Ridge spot unless people don't want to camp on a lake then I'll start looking elsewhere

I'd try and get a meet up spot before hand and then go to the spot

So I re-did the poll down to 2 dates because I know people tend to have plans for Memorial Day so I picked the 2 most popular weekends and we'll pick one from there. Now this doesn't mean we can't camp both weekends, we can use the weekend thread for the other date. I'm leaving it open for a week and then that'll decide it.

Now if you're against camping on the Lake post up some ideas where we could go instead. As of right now I'm thinking the lake because it's getting warmer and camping in the summer sucks unless we're near some water

Never been to that lake, sounds fun.
    Couple questions:
    - we camping on the lake edge, or will we need to hike to it?
    - what’s the road like to the lake? Trailer worthy? Would like to bring it if it makes sense.

Edge of the lake, I've got pics but that was when the lake was low so I'm not sure how it'll be now.

As for the road it's pretty rough, so rough that we had a VW Passat at the camp site  It's again a gravel road, you shouldn't get stuck if you bring the trailer ;)

Oh there should be plenty of room, maybe not enough room to accommodate how many rigs we had last time but should be a decent amount

Nope, all gravel roads. Even a car can make it to this spot
