The only difference would be 2nd vs 3rd gen. I have 886s up front now, thought they were stiff. However I did drive a company Ford f250 for a while, made my tacoma seem like it was riding on clouds.

My housing was rusting through too. I found a axle at a yard for like $650. To me, replacing the entire thing in a few hours was cheaper and faster than tearing it apart and welding a new cover on since I'd have had to take it to a shop for that.

If you do end up getting a complete axle, the only thing you have to pay attention to is the location of the ebrake cable that runs along the backside of the housing.

Fucking pollen is killing me. I never had an issue with seasonal allergies until a year ago. How do I go from zero issues for +40 years to now being a congested mess???

I have them too, it sucks. I use Flo-nase allergy spray once a day. Keeps it under control. Key is use it everyday.

Y’all are semi lucky. I’ve had it for all 23 years so far, and my father gets such bad migraines from it he can’t move or see light and needs an ice pack. Hope y’all feel better!

Getting old ain't for sissies. Been dealing with allergies for 50 years. Flonase and Allegra together work good. When it gets really bad I add a prescription nasal spray.
