    My dad's 53, my mom is 51, and I'm a junior in high school. Every financial/life choice my dad's made, worked smoothly... he didn't even finish high school, and is earning more money than my friends parents with degrees.

    Yeah i remember those days. High school is boring, but college is a lot of work if you want to do well.. didnt care for either of them haha.. college is a nice step up from high school tho. Youll love not having to sit in class 8hrs a day

    That's my only gripe with school. I take all my core classes in the morning (physics, algebra 2, geometry, English 3) that way I don't have to worry about any class after lunch. We're not allowed to go out, so I park in the middle school parking lot near the baseball field and walk to school.

    Played basketball my freshman year of HS, and then quit and focused on my studies. Figured out that sports weren't gonna get me through college haha. I wasnt very good:p

    Sounds like youd be a good candidate to graduate early. I got out 6months early from HS, started college 6months early and graduated in four years with five years worth of schooling

    Not really sports didn’t work out in my favor thought I was some stud till I went for tryouts at UNM an found out in 2.5 sec I wasn’t chit.
    But always had a way with the ladies... not so much anymore

    Lol funny how serious some folks take sports. Its so competitve now, very hard to get a scholarship for it

    Studied at Schreiner University in Kerrville. Double majored in accounting and finance

    Your right I had to take it serious cause that was what I thought at the time my only into college. Folks were to broke to help an was not going to get into major debt.
    Knowing now I would of went with band or just a scholastic scholarship an focused on that. But I did get a small football ride but blew that opportunity off an got caught partying.:anonymous:
