What did you drive before your Taco?

Dang, that thing probably gets horrible gas mileage

 

Kept the V-strom, I had way to many bikes lol

 

2015 Prerunner before swapping it for a 2015 4wd.

 

1998 Wrangler sport.
2004 WRX wagon (hybrid build)

 

Looks like you were in denial about it being a van and not a sports car, too. The shoulders on those front tires are smoked

 

First six were all used (and used up) junkers.
Those were my dark days of car ownership.
Owned them in this order, spanning 1982 - 1991
1970 VW Beetle
1980 VW Rabbit
1978 Ford Mustang
1982 Datsun B210
1973 Chevy Nova
1978 Chevy Monte Carlo

Then started the pick up years.
1988 Ford Ranger 1991 - 1993 hit by bus and totaled


1991 Ford Ranger - Bought new 1993 as a 2 year left over.
Drove it until 1999. Sold it with 150K miles


1999 Ford Ranger
Bought new and put 270K miles on it until repairs got too expensive.




With it's successor , 2015 5 lug Access Cab, bought Sept 2018

EDIT: My favorite was the lincoln. That thing was badass but with 140k miles on a ford, purchased from a retired ford employee, it was coming to the end of it's life. Although i wish i would have kept it and just put the money into it.
The Dakota was a horse. I beat the snot out of it and it kept going...most of the time. The Mazda was a blast to drive. The civic was the worst one. Thank god it was a lease. I on average kept those cars for roughly 2-3 years before i got something new (Grandam ~6 years. Lincoln ~1year.) The Tacoma will be with me for quite some time!

I wanted a ranger pretty bad as a first car. Until I found out that they were rated as one of the most unsafe pick ups lol

 

I came from a lowered car too. Huge difference

 

I'll be keeping my taco as long as I can.

Before my 2015 Tacoma TRD Sport DCLB 4x4..... I had a 2005 Tacoma TRD Off Road AC 4x4....
