Looks like no spacers for rear 2 bolts. I did have 2 captive washers in the box also. I’m not sure of the size. I tried looking up the part number on the hardware kit but it doesn’t list individual hardware. Maybe the dealer shows a schematic or someone here knows the bolt specs.

Thank you. Yes, could've been way worse. I've hit a few, but never in a vehicle that I've only made a couple of payments on. It's at the body shop as we speak, supposedly it will only be a couple of weeks till she comes home again.

Yeah deer are a fact of life around here.. especially if you are going anywhere interesting. I'm thinking I need to move that bumper up on my priority list. It's easy to get that "it won't happen to me" mentality.

I'd love to use this as an excuse to start making mods, however right now i'll have to wait till she comes home. I am very careful while driving because of the deer, however he came out of a deep ditch an I didn't even have time to take my foot off the accelerator

I'm pretty sure that it doesn't, but with this being more of an angled impact, I'm not sure if that would've worked anyway

Yeah that's why I was asking. I was curious if it would have been effective against something like that.

Did you paint your fender flares and bumper caps? If so, with what?

Nice calipers! Mitutoyo makes some the best measuring devices in the industry IMHO.

TSS should be standard on the TRD I believe.

The flares are off a TRD off road and the caps are rhino lined bumper caps from Tacoma Beast.

I also changed the oil in my wife's highlander last weekend and noticed her vehicle came stock with a aluminum oil filter cap. WTF Toyota...No love for the Tacoma's!? Also, the instructions for the Fumoto valve say to hand tighten and then tighten another 1/4 to 1/2 turn with a wrench or ratchet. I did a 1/2 turn to be on the safe side and that sucker was still leaking. Another 1/3 turn did the trick. I was freaking out for a minute. LOL
