This is not with the FPR Mod (Boost referencing).

You're pig rich on the TRD tune due to the COT protection circuit probably commanding a 50% richer AFR than the baseline fuel map and your FPR mod adding fuel under boost as well.

If you're running headers (or don't care how long your cats live), You'd be quite lean if you disabled the COT protection circuit.

Would it possible to eliminate the MAF electrically from the equation and do Speed Density tunes or VE tunes on this PCM similar to how you can with GM?

It's not something that is currently available unfortunately.

Requires tons of custom code, plus the tacoma doesn't have a MAP sensor

it should get you close. But if you don't know the basics of MAF scaling and reading fuel trims you (as in "someone reading this") shouldn't be trying to tune your own truck. But at least for someone willing to venture into it, it's a starting point.

@JustDSM and @OVTune, good info to know. I have a 3.5" aluminum MAF housing and a spare intake tube for my AFE intake which is 3". Once I get back from vacation, I will be modding that intake tube for the larger MAF housing for eventual tuning.

If you're going to do it, my method for this truck would be the following:

    1) Ensure your truck is free of vacuum/boost leaks, do your diligence to make sure you're working with a close system.
    2) Make a baseline correction using the formula provided to the Airflow vs. Voltage table under Engine/Airflow/General/MAF Calibration
    3) Zero out the Base table under Engine/Airflow/General/MAF Correction
    4) Flash the new tune to the ECU and reset stored fuel trims by disconnecting battery.
    5) Go on a LONG drive with lots of varied RPM/Throttle/Load changes ensuring you've got the appropriate channels being logged (If you don't know what they are, you shouldn't be doing this on your own!)
    6) Open VCM Scanner and open or create a table displaying your Mass Airflow (v) X LTFT+STFT Histogram. Ensure your axis matches your table so your histogram displays properly. You'll also want to be sure you are looking at the Averaged Values, not the High/Low/Counts.
    7) Copy that, and do a "Paste special multiply by %" on your Airflow vs. Voltage table.
    8) Repeat once or twice as necessary depending on how far off your calc was and as you get closer to zero'd trims instead of using the "paste special multiply by %" use the "paste special multiply by %-half".
    9) Go out and log another LONG log like mentioned in Step 5.
    10) Open VCM Scanner and open or create a table displaying your LTFT+STFT on a RPM X LOAD axis chart scaled to match your MAF Base table that we set to "1.00's" earlier and apply the changes to the MAF Base table per your histogram.

*Bonus Step* For those that want to take it to the next level you could also disconnect the EVAP Purge solenoid to ensure your trims aren't skewed by the EVAP system.

The UCON isn't reporting the values seen by the ECU. It's not possible for the ECU to read/see/report anything higher than 324 g/sec with the stock MAF calibration.

My tuner has had emails in to you guys for a week now, and hasn't got any responses.. really interested in what you have to offer. Might just be purchasing a supercharger soon and want to be able to get the most out of it.

    I do have a ticket open. #168516

Unable to view PIDs for knock learn, knock feedback, intake cam desired angle and injector pulse width.

These PIDs are available on a Toyota Techstream and Autel Maxisys.

Does APR still sell them outside of the UCON kit?
