Hmmm. The kit didn't come with new uniball adapters? Only reason I say is because most LT kits completely replace the stock balljoint-to-spindle adapter for one that properly spaces the LCA to the CV boot and maintain proper geometry. I know this was a limited run by solo on these kits, but I didn't think they cut some corners on it.

Nope. Honestly I would call Solo and just complain but that won't do any good. I'll make this work!

VERY. My prayer is to fix the wrong fitting I was given for the reservoir hose so I can drop at least 1" off my ride height and help with that angle and create more clearance.

Yeah, especially since I think the RnD on these kits might have been brief since they were a special order for some overloading group, which ended up canceling on solo. Which is at least what I read. You could try hitting up LSK, who’s over here in Fontana. They originally had a problem with their adapters not being long enough for the CV to clear the LCA. @inesshell Maybe they’ll sell you a pair of uniball adapters.

It looks good maybe an inch high, but maybe that’ll help with your angles. What’s up next? You get a different alignment

Well there's no weight in the bed. There is going to be around 360lbs of weight back on the bed soonish, so I *need* to drop it close to 1.5" or so. My rear is almost a 4" lift right now.

Yup! I'm hoping there's a picture saturday of me stoked with everything finally working. New alignment after - If I can just get the tie rod extensions on there I should be good to go though, just set toe and go since camber/caster is set.

Started thinking while @ the gym - I don’t rub tie rod when fully cranked to the right, so why can’t I turn more? Hmm...why can this be?

Oh wait, since the tie rod extension is missing, I’m losing all those extra turns. The tie rod does hit the spring when turning to the left, yes, but that’s not the reason for the f’d up turning radius turning left, it’s cause the damn extension isn’t on!

Lol I kinda thought that, but I thought there was a reason like it hit one side and didn’t the other. I thought there was reasoning to the madness

Hahaha because I knew I could get it in spec right then and there. This Friday everything is getting torn apart again so I’ll have both extensions on.

Eh, cats out of the bag already since I got a bunch of PM’s. Let me be a role model on how to convert a budget build into..not a budget build

Good thing my $26.02 from Youtube will cover this
