    May as well.

This is ~2.5 years. Was never fat, just lazy. Only things I’ve ever taken are preworkout, protein powder, and BCAA.

I eat like a pig. Everything and anything.

5’10, 143lbs, 5.6% BF...No set gym schedule like some people. I’d that dude doing upsidedown pullups in the gym or muscleups, I just do whatever isn’t sore. I got bored of doing regular weights so I started doing body weight and core training stuff and honestly, I’ve gotten way *stronger* by doing that. I never wanted to put on mass really, just lean out.

What type of body weight stuff?
I’m having a lot of fun doing mostly that right now.

    Body weight now?

    Check The Build Thread
Hit a squat PR for 385 (35 lbs jump) and was feeing it so jumped to 405. First try at 405 I missed my depth by 3”. Second try missed the depth by maybe 1”. Third try I felt like I didn’t hit depth after starting to come up so stopped and went back down before locking it...and still didn’t hit the depth.

    :annoyed:

I did the same thing on my previous PR of 350. Took 3 times for a good lift. Oh well...I know what 405 feels like now (for 3) so I’ll work my depth and I know I’ll hit it next time.

    I think if I would’ve hit 395 before making the jump to 405, I would’ve got it.

Great job man! You're certainly on the correct path to reach your goals!

You can always try to set up a resistance band across the safety racks or side supports and find your depth that way, and soon as you touch it you can go back up. I saw this little trick a few months ago in the gym - was actually impressed.

Good for her, that's some serious dedication.

She's very dedicated. She's consuming more food (and calories) now than when she started the plan 12 weeks ago. She started off with a coach who fucked her diet over horribly, so we stopped his services within 6 weeks. (2nd time now we've had a shit coach)

I am done with coaches and just doing this myself as it seems some coaches don't understand that women aren't men... And also women who do bikini prep don't need to starve because they aren't cutting to 5% BF... Sigh, some people.

    For reference she's eating about 1g protein / 1lb BW. 40g Fats and roughly 165g carbs/ day

A lot of calisthenics. I spend a ton of time at the park with bars too just doing upside down dips, muscle ups, shoulder “around the worlds,” etc.

Its amazing what you can get done with just body weight.
I’m doing p90X right now and really enjoying getting back to core work. I have a lot less aches and pains and feel great with the better ROM in those exercises and the improvement in core strength.

You’ve made some great gains doing that stuff.

Time to add some weight and make some real gains. Nobody is impressed by the skinny guy with abs. You’ve never heard anyone brag on a fat chick with big tits :notsure:

Na I'm good, I like my body and ability to run 20+ miles easily.

Chicks don't dig someone who can't scratch their own back.

Why do you need a chick if they won’t scratch your back for you?

Lies. No one likes to run 20+ miles.
My chick digs me. I can’t scratch my own back. That’s why god gave her fingernails.

Haha honestly I hated running my entire life. Then I went through some tougher times and would run and hit the bag almost everyday to occupy my mind. Somehow I fell in love with running and "runners high," so here I am slowly destroying my knees.

The scratching back thing was a joke haha, don't take it too seriously. I truly wish it was easier for me to gain weight. Even on a bulk eating 3,300 calories (I can break it down for you too) I can not gain weight. I have never passed 150lbs, which sucks. I wish I could be around 160-170 but that means I'd have to cut out a lot of the cardio which I don't want to do.

I was eating 5000 to gain. Then even plateaued at that many calories.
