I was wondering how to say that to james. Well said. And if someone is sincerely asking and curious about quality of someone's welds.... Nah, you still don't say it lol

Isn't that the awful truth? You would never believe it without seeing it for yourself

No it looks routed incorrectly dude, if the sticker under your hood is correct, your belt is routed wrong

Basically what you need to do is.... Just follow the sticker. Too hard to type out for some reason.

weird, yours is routed like mine but you have a different sticker than I do. You can see both here (this was taken right after I bought the truck hence why it's so clean)

I wonder if there's something different about your year truck that requires the belts to be routed a different way.

Yo @TheMTBtacoGuy, from the top pulley, see the part of belt with it's back against Idler? Pull that off and then pull off the belt going around the alternator and take that part back to the Idler and then back to the alternator... Clear as mud??? Lmao if I confused you worse, sorry man

That is weird af man... Wtf is going on here? Two different stickers for routing the belt for the same blower? Maybe slight differences between the years? I'm lost now sorry

    yeah that's what I'm wondering

1.) His is routed correctly and someone put the wrong sticker on there (maybe for the 1st gen grey TRD supercharger? I haven't seen what that routing looks like)

    or

2.) Something about the 2001 trucks requires the belt to be routed according to that sticker and his got routed the wrong way.

Maybe he did just get the wrong sticker, look at this 1st gen grey supercharger and how it's routed...looks like how his sticker suggests.

    pully.jpg

I think he just has the wrong sticker

Older ones run a different style tension pully. If yours is dynamic and his is solid then it should probably be routed different.

Ah I didn't notice that, it does look like his tensioner is different. Yeah looks like @TheMTBtacoGuy needs to reroute his belts. Using a new belt
