Just bought a 16 ORLB and have a noob locker question. When i switch into 4lo and depress the locker button on the OHP the red locker light blinks on the dash. Is that normal or is it suppose to go green when it is locked?

    thanks

Suppose to go green... you may need to drive in a "s" or turn in circle to get the diff to line up.

It will blink until it locks. You may need to drive / turn / slip for it to align and lock.

It flashes red until locked, once locked it's solid red.

It should go in pretty easily even just by rolling a bit and should be almost immediate.

Fun fact: If you shutdown the truck while locked, when you start it again the truck will unlock it. So if you shutdown on a trail, make sure you relock.

I had this exact problem myself not long ago. I found that by creeping along at maybe 3 mph helps it lock in. Also the 's' curve driving maneuver works well too.
