    When I was eyeing the ARE CX HD cap, this is exactly what I wanted to do on one side. The inner frame is extruded aluminum so a few T-bolts and some plywood would have made a cheap and excellent setup.

    Makes me wish I’d splurged on the full-flip windows. But my cap was already $2600 bare bones so wasn’t trying to add on any extras

    My next Taco or Tundra might get a full topper and full flip windows in a must. The usefulness of them are pretty insane for grabbing stuff towards the front of the bed

    Yeah it’s a lot of money but well worth it in my opinion. I used to have a Ram with the Ram boxes and I really missed the utility of those. Getting a shell with a toolbox on one side was my solution for that. Best money I’ve spent on the truck so far.
