Yep I've had them & you guessed it. They look nice until you rotate a couple times & the black paint scratches off

Yea I got chrome ones also. The black ones look good but chrome kinda compliments my wheels so I went with it

Yeah I have Toyota black alloy wheels and I have had a $20 set of chrome lug nuts I bought on Ebay 3 months ago and the damn things are starting to rust already. LOL! My 6 month check-up is next week and 1st thing they want to do is bust out the impact to rotate my tires that will only have about 1800 miles on them. Not this time my friend..

But yeah I like the looks of chrome lug nuts on black wheels. They go good together with the chrome Toyota emblem on the center cap. (Picture is from Jan. after my buddy rolled these tires around on his shop floor.) They don't look like that now. Got a wax job in and Adam's tire shine on the tires today during this 74 degree day. :)

They are still new. About 6 months old. I just use the soapy brush at the car wash on them then rinse them off and give them a spray of McKee's 37 Hydro Blue and dry them off with a microfiber towel.

Consensus is; "If they want em, they're going to get em". Not sure locks are worth the hassle. Never had them on mine, but do have locks on my girlfriend's JK, mainly for that spare sticking up there for the world to take.
