... see if Gary's shot holds up the lead and get moving on to Houston tomorrow so I can finally watch NYY on TV, its been blacked out here the past two days for some reason and have to follow the TV scorecard window while watching 2-hit-Whit get closer to Brett's team record ... just 2 more to tie but tomorrow starts home series in KC against Seattle and I don't know anything about them. Their evening games are 2 hours behind CST so they start at 9pm here which is too late for me (to watch a whole game!!!!)
Seattle was one of the few places I have gone to see an MLB game back in 1999 at the old Kingdome while working in the Seattle area, my co-worker had a relative that worked in the MLB offices and got us some real nice seats behind homeplate

Yea it’s nice waking up to a 4-0 lead. Game started at 7am. I went to Safeco last year to watch the Yankees Mariners series. It was my birthday weekend which I don’t celebrate but I used it as an excuse to go. Got to watch 2 wins an a lose on the last

Not that I was expecting miracles, but at least some improvement . . .

KC won its first 2 . . . and has lost 6 straight.

Hoping now that they don't end the season before May like they did last year!

We've got enough hitting and speed to return to our get em on, over, and in, enough athleticism to be really good defensively, starting pitching is decent enough to compete, couple of our question marks like Soler and Dozier are finally producing, but I think our bullpen actually got worse from last year. o_O

We should be 6 and 2 right now and on top the AL Central but we are 2 and 6 because our pen has a 9 ERA. :(

But, we still watch. Think I've said before that the wife might be a bigger fan than I am and we both suffered through all the dark years from 1985 thru 2014-15. I just hope we live long enough to see the next transition . . .

I am trying to calculate which game Whit (if he keeps his current hit streak going) will be at to challenge DiMaggio's record, and it might be very close to when the Yankees play in KC at the end of May (they have to play in NY in the next couple weeks) ... that would be something if he can get that far!

    ...
Verlander got taxed 30+ pitches that inning
    ...
Altuve hit one 440+ feet, bounced out of Minutemaid ... that was insane!!!
didn't know the little guy could hit like that

sorry for the haphazard updates lol ... I was otherwise occupied when that happened
was switching channels checking on Whit got his 29th ... I think that tied Ortiz for longest hit streak in past 10yrs

Holy Moly! Playing Seattle and had our typical get em on over and in inning plating 2 so things are going good. Seattle comes up and 2 swings, it's tied. Seattle has 29 home runs in 12 games.

Whit is already 2 for 2 up to 29 games.

Braves fan here. I know I’ll catch some slack. Rightly so, I’m watching them play the Rockies now and we just walked the pitcher...
