So people who know about hoses...I’m still learning

This first picture is of my 90° bend which is the wrong one. Pretty sure I specified AN 90 which looks like the second picture. My hose:


This hose/fitting I needed




King wants $90 per hose. I know hydraulic hoses are more expensive, however, I’m looking at the fitting thinking of how I could make something work. If I’m not mistaken, the fittings are crimped to the hose (or hose crimped into fitting, etc) which makes it hard to replicate.

Any ideas? I may even be able to turn the fitting to the right which would come out around the shock and make room for more clearance. I have some reservoir hose line to play with still

He hates playing with balls, hates toys, but loves hiking, laser pointers, and flashlights.

 

We build hoses like that at work for equipment, that looks like a jic 90 which is like a rounded end. And yea once the fitting is crimped there is no reusing the fitting but you can cut it off and crimp the new correct fitting if the hose is long enough. Are those a hoses made by Eaton?

 

Yeah it's a crimp on fitting that king is using. I was trying to find one that isn't a crimp on but no luck.

I'm trying to figure out what the size is so I can go somewhere else.

Yea that would work without having to replace your hose, which picture is your truck? The 3/8 part I’m guessing but looks close, also depends on what the fitting coming out of your shock looks like

 

Are there any places near you that make hydraulic hoses they should have adapters too and be able to help you without making a new hose, how do you add oil when you take the hoses loose like that?
