New UCA or used? Did you torque them after the truck was back on the ground (not before)? Including the bolt through the uniball into the spindle?

Is your tapered pin slightly out of place?

Thanks for the input. I watched Icon’s video on UCA maintenance and they advised to never lube the ball joint. However, TotalChaos’ video advises to lube the ball joint :notsure:. I’ve seen people advise on going either route also.

    New UCAs.

Yes, I torqued both once the truck was already back down on the ground.

    Tapered pin appears normal.

Well shit, let us know what you end up doing and the results. Good luck OP. I know uniball will squeak, but it shouldn't be immediately after install if new.

You need to lube uniballs on the UCA. I have to clean/lube mine about monthly when they start making noise.

I have a set of Delta Joints waiting to go on to quiet things down

So I loosened the UCA bolt, added more grease, and tightened things back up with negative results. I'm beginning to think it might be the uniballs? The squeak is very very loud. I'll try and record a video with audio tomorrow...

I'm starting to get used to my uniball squeak. I'd you figure our our lmk. The knob to the right of the stereo helped with my squeak

Not enough to have a build thread.
Did you lube your uniballs with tri flow yet?

Not yet. I’m still unsure due to the fact Icon advises not to.

The knob on my stereo definitly helps drown out the squeak and driveline howl.

Noticed your local. Maybe we can meet up sometime and see if the sound I’m having is similar to yours.

Yeah I'm sure we can, I'm off of work around 4 most days and work locally.
