Nothing fancy here. Dad gave me this Iver Johnson in .32 Smith & Wesson that apparently been in the family for quite some time. Most of the finish is gone. Functions perfectly when dry firing. I'll hold on to it just because it was a family piece.

Anyone running an Aero Precision 450 bushmaster upper on an AR15 lower with ejection issues? It loads fine but will not eject the spent cases. First thing to check?

Possibly undergassed? Are the rounds not ejecting at all? I use JP Enterprise silent buffer typically and tune the buffer with a heavier/lighter spring depending on the build. An adjustable gas block may be helpful as well. You could also check to see if the ports are clear of debris/shavings.

Got my 2nd Tikka in .223 stainless about a week ago. Had the barrel cut to 16" and threaded and put some tape on it. Sprayed the stock and put a XLR cheek peice. Should be a nice coyote setup

I have a 6.5 grendel and creedmoor I would probably use for hog hunting over this thing. Regardless I'm stoked to get after them when people start mowing for hay.

Finally "finished" my T3X after about 18 months, started as a .308 Lite Black Friday '17.

    20190430_192451.jpg
MDT LSS-XL G2 chassis with Luth buttstock & Atlas CAL bipod.

Mountain Tactical 20MOA rail, PST Gen 1 6-24x50 in Warne MT rings, those are high rings, going down to medium now that I have my new barrel.

And the last piece of the puzzle, McGowen 24" 6.5CM 5R 1:8 Medium Palma, with an SPR Magnum Bugnut barrel nut. Got a lot more involved than I wanted it to, between getting the factory barrel off, and then finding out the shank was short 0.15" of threads to fit the barrel nut. Ended up having 0.075" milled off the receiver face and mating face of the barrel nut. Worked out cool, the action had a chamfer there and the barrel nut tapered down to match, now the action face is flat and the barrel nut is fatter where it meets (even matched up about perfectly!) and looks much better with a 1.2" diameter barrel, but also meant getting the receiver Cerakoted. Both things I had in mind to do in the future, wasn't really wanting to spend more now, but at least it was what I wanted to do anyway!

Worth it when I take it out to break the barrel in, think "man, I'm not shooting great today" and then see this... certainly not the gun holding back my (meh) skills...
