I got a ARE tonneau cover for a long bed if anyone wants it, free to TW. It is white, but I plasti-dipped it black. It'll peel off easily though.

 

Going to throw the stock trd or suspension back on. Just going to leave it parked outside while the shocks are getting rebuilt. I Should have another car to use. If not, i May hit you up for your spares but should be good though.

Need some help, any recommendations on what to clean my bare metal sliders with before I paint them? I know they should be wiped down but not sure with what.

‘93 wrangler. 4” bds springs plus spring over. So maybe 7” total.

Part of the problem is it has a r150f transmission out of a 4Runner and a Toyota tcase. Which I think is slightly longer than the stock ax15/np231 duo (and hopefully tougher).

Also the 14bolt pinion isn’t centered so it also has that angle...

Anyone deal with water storage tanks and pumps?
Looking for 2500 gallon potable water tank and pressure pump for a whole house system.

I used mineral spirits to prep my bumpers before painting and it worked well.

 

I use lacquer or denatured alcohol then simple green then tack cloth

 

Anyone have a lead on an overland trailer. Looking to spend 3-4K I can build one for a little less which is the plan unless I can come across a good deal.

 

You mean lacquer thinner, right?

Btw, I use acetone because it cleans and dries quickly without leaving residue.

 

Do you have any pics? I was thinking about getting a cover but haven’t been that motivated to shop for one.

 

Are you getting water delivered? Or is it coming from a well?

I’d use a poly tank to pump then into one of those bladder pressure tanks that you see on wells. It’d keep the pump from cycling on and off.

Or if possible get the tank placed at a higher elevation then where you’re going to use it and let gravity do the heavy lifting.

 

I think @jberry813 was toying with the idea of selling his offroad trailer.
Most likely more than what you are trying to spend, but it’s pretty set up. It’s got a bunch of extra stuff and is ready to go
