Got begged into work on Saturday for a downed plant... got home around 0030... by the time I unwound and layed down, it 130ish..,

Spent time on the phone Sunday morning dealing with issues from the say before...

Did some yard work with the kids, took a break, took the Dyna out... and came home, put the stand down... the section of platform i put the stand down on, gave way, and I couldnt stop the bike....

A big shed just got moved WAY up the priority list.
Its currently in a Shelter Logic, on a shipping pallet. Soft ground, and the plywood getting soft... I knew it was going to happen at some point...

Pissed, and sore... no real damage(EDIT, should say no major damage)..

Was kinda hard to admit that.....

I imagine its infitely easier to change the floors on an aluminum boat, than a fiberglass one....

    Coating them in resin?

Ive been wondering. Part numbers are different. But, when I was bringing Ricks exhaust, it looked pretty damn close. Close enough, that I wanted to see if it would work....

In the mean time, Ive been half keeping an eye for a TRD or S Type pipe....

I swear rental places must creep this thread.

Dropped my truck off for the frame inspection and they gave me a F150 double cab rental

It's warming up so the doors should stay closed on it

If they gave you an ecoboost enjoy having some pep for the first time in a while!

@Chasespeed sounds like a rough ass weekend! Hopefully no one needs ya this week while on call and you can relax and touch the bike up. I feel you on the shed/barn needs. My barn has been downgraded to a shed most likely for this year it seems, if it happens at all.

Well, hopefully yesterday isnt a preview of the week... left for Taunton @ 1015... got home at about 415... freaking fried.

Gotta do now, and deal with a unit that was hit by a forklift, and go from there.....

Yeah, the permitting game in this state is insane

Did you tell those guys you were on call, not the main guy to call! Is your industry lacking people like trucking is, or is that just how the job is?

    Well, yes and yes.
We have a high burn-out rate. We are specialized even amongst our own trade... no one wants anything to do with it.

Quite a bit easier although glass boats don't usually have carpet to deal with. I have 19 separate pieces to cover in carpet which I'm not looking forward to. The wood only needs to be sealed with spar varnish. All 4 sides need to get sealed. 1 coat of old timers formula which is a mixture of spar vanish, boiled linseed oil and mineral spirits, then 5 coats of the spar varnish. I'll be varnishing for the next two weeks basically.

I’ve got to do the same this spring for my center console which will not be fun either. I’m thinking of using 5/8” or 3/4” sheet PVC (AZEK, Kleer, etc). $$ up front but hopefully it would be the last time.
