I was rideing my Motorcycle on a summer day, and it was HOT AS HELL. I pulled into Tempe Town Lake, and drove right up to a water fountain which she was sitting near reading a book. She gave me a weird look, so I made a silly comment that got her to laugh. I ended up talking to her at the park for almost 5 hours! I told her that we should go out sometime, and she agreed. Well, we became friends, then started dateing. At that time, I knew she was the one for me, after she has seen my hobbies, and put up with some hospital visits. The reast is history. :D

Worked at a Shell station next door to a Mcdonald's. My wife was a manager and we would go over there to get food. I love caramel sundays and she fixed me up with the best ones I ever had. Extra caramel on the bottom and plenty on the top. Next thing you know...........2 babies at once.......yeehaaw!;)

    getting there....
me and a buddy went drinking at midtown sundries after work one night. not many girls were there, so i told him to call a few up. well...the only one that came out there for a little while was Leila(now my wife), so we talked for a little while over the next few weeks, then started dating...dated for about 3 years and finally got married.

Don't rush it....be patient. The right one will come along when you least expect it!!

Of all things - my husband and I met through the computer. Before the internet existed, there was a local computer network game that I logged into and played. This was a large group of computer nerdish people but they were fun as hell! We partied together & did all sorts of things together for years! Steve (my husband) was in this group and he was in one of my college classes also. So needless to say, with a little help from fellow friends...we went out and we've been together ever since (since 1990).

Funny...but before I got involved with that group of people, I'd been eye-balling Steve for a couple years. I thought he was soooooo damn gorgeous!! You know the deal....I'd never get a date with him cuz he could have anyone he wanted!! Why would he bother with me? (laugh)

He hates it when I bring that up - as he doesn't believe me when I tell him I'd been *checking him out* for years. :D

I saw her walking home from school on Valentine's Day. It was cold and rainy so I picked her up and took her home. It's been pretty amazing since. :D

We met in freshman English (a class I now teach! LOL!). He sat in the first seat second row, and I sat in the third seat of the first row. We would talk in the hall sometimes before class. At any rate, he kept moving back a seat every few days until we were sitting next to each other. I had a crush on him pretty quick--long hair does that to me! We ended up being friends, and at one point had a conversation about how "I am never gonna get married." Now he tells me that the whole time we were having that conversation he was thinking "I'm gonna marry this girl" LOL! I guess he was right because we are still together, 20 years this month. I did have to hit him with a pretty big brick though to let him know that I liked him--after giving him every opportunity to kiss me that I could think of, I finally just grabbed him and planted one on him! After that, no dark room at that university was safe from us making out....
