    I’m pretty sure he said no ETA on those but could be a while- where did you see another week? He posted a preview vid of them a while back for all the people asking about them but I am struggling to find it.

    Use the plastic bag removal method. Or, apply blue painter's tape on the housing before you remove it.
    You will not have a very good grip on it when you first start trying to remove it. When it releases, there is a good chance it can slip out of your hand and land on the ground

    What's the plastic bag method? Put a bag around the mirror and tie a knot, so if it pops off, cover falls into bag instead of ground?

    pretty much. I just placed the bag over the housing and looped a couple fingers into the handles then push edge of the bag up to make a tight fit over the housing and pulled.

    Tying the bag over the entire mirror would more effective at keeping it off the ground. I just didn't want it to bounce off something else and get scratched anyway.
    I suppose blue tape and the bag would be the old "suspenders and a belt" approach, to be most safeguarded against scratches and blemishes.
