Looking to see who else wrapped their 3rd gens. How do you like it? How is it holding up off road? (if you take it off road) Any regrets? I somewhat financially regret doing it because I could've put that money towards bumpers or something similar instead, but tbh it makes it my favorite taco on the street!!

If there's anybody out there, post your pics!!

What color was it initially!? What's the color called on the wrap? Dare I ask how much it cost!??!?!

EDIT: Found the color name in your avatar thing.

The OG color is silver metallic, I didn't want there to be too much of a color difference in the door jams. And cost heavily varies by who and where you're located. I had mine done in NE and was quoted anywheres upwards to $6k and as low as $3k for the whole truck. You typically get what you pay for though and some people purposely overcharge because they don't want to do the work! I've heard stories about people getting emblems wrapped over and getting them poorly done, but the guys who do a good job take of all the plastics/moldings/logos and put them back on after they apply the wrap. I had mine done at Big Monkey Wraps in MA and they did a great job. They focus on custom jobs as opposed to commercial like what most vinyl wrap guys do

Anywhere's from $3-6k from my experience. Can get even more expensive if you have them do the door jams too (which I didn't). Just make sure you're getting it done through someone reputable!!

How durable is it? How long have you had the wrap installed?

I've had it since August of last year and it's got some chips in it from rocks in the front and a small knick in the back from a 2x4 falling over onto it, but otherwise it's pretty durable. They offered to put a ceramic coat over the front of the truck for a couple extra hundred dollars but I opted not to have it done. My thought process around it is it'll mitigate the amount of scratches I'll be getting on the trail.

Though, now that I think about it, I did slightly swipe the garage door edge with the front corner of my bumper (tight squeeze), and the vinyl didn't show a thing too

Thanks!! Post a pic when you get yours done. I've only ever seen one other wrapped before, it was forest/army matte green

Pay very careful attention to the words in this post. Just open up your wallet. Its an addiction. You bought a Tacoma. There is no self restraint. This truck wants you to do things with your money and you just let it happen.

$6,000 for your wrap then you will need more. It will ask for other things and its voice will be very relaxing. You will tune into what it asks you and before you know it you will draw closer and closer to $75,000 into total cost of your truck. Its an extension of you. You say you'll keep this one forever.. Until one day you just trade it. You'll eventually forget how much you paid or when you wrapped your truck, or even this post. And you can awaken now knowing that after reading this you have no self control over mods to your tacoma, and you will mod, more and more ...

When you go to buy your Tacoma, just do yourself a favor and finance an extra $20k for all the extra toys! JK that's a terrible idea.

i havent been kind to it, taking the snugtop off/on a few times ripped the vinyl. if it weren't for that it would probably be fine, also if I washed the truck more.
