I think my 16 auto has like 11 cup holders. I will GLADLY give up two of them to slap an extra set of 4.7s in there!

Yeah. Its pretty ridiculous. The two that I will lose are currently full of random bullshit anyway so it will force me not to keep so much crap in them.

Why'd you lose both? I thought you could stuff the j shift into the rear cup holder

Is this same issue with the MT not shared with the AT?

For us 3rd gen 6MT guys, we have to swap out the input gear on our t-case for an auto t-case input gear, that's part 1. And for our 19 spline output gear on our transmission, Marlin makes a 19-23 spline coupler for that part. He tells a manual transmission guys everything in his build thread. I don't think I'm missing anything right?
Here's a paragraph from his build thread.

"There is one final part remaining and that is how do we get the smaller 23-spline automatic-type t/case input to connect to my manual transmission's larger 19-spline output and for this we designed a 19-to-23-spline coupler with an extended length specifically to match our Total Spline input technology. I'll update the thread with more info & pics of this once we get actual production couplers ready."

I'm guessing you just got a tracking number issued? I've been waiting since the beginning of February for mine. Was issued a tracking number the day after I ordered.

Was told they ran out of shifter bases so boxes have been delayed.

I made the same mistake. I don't understand how a company that's been around this long can have so many supply chain management problems.

hmm, well since you ordered in Feb and BigMike posted in mid March that they were just now building 1st gen Tacoboxes, maybe you'll get yours shipping in a couple of weeks? No telling. Let me know though.

They had posted elsewhere in the January timeframe that they were available. Even the website showed them to be "in stock" which is a rarity.

If not in the next couple of weeks, I'll likely cancel and go with the atlas.

It’s a shame they can’t seem to get their operation going smoothly. There’s huge demand for their product.
