Brand new ARB locker leaking air

    Hopefully. All these issues I've seen with the ARB makes me very happy with my decision to go with a mechanical locker. It's been rock solid for me.

    He's saying if you put it in reverse and apply power, there's a half rotation until it engages in reverse. Not just rolling back.

    I don't see how the locker would know the difference between rolling back or rolling back under power. What I've read is it's just rolling back.

    Because if you just roll back the locker stays in the forward locked position. If you put it in reverse, then comes the half rotation.

    My front air locker has been solid, I just wish the rear was like that. No leaks, always locks and unlocks.....

    I mean the dude is clearly demonstrating that changing directions will disengage the locker for a bit. I don't understand where the disagreement or confusion is.

    That's fine, I'm just trying to share the information with people who don't know. I assumed an e locker would be like an air locker and engaged 100% of the time. Once I found this out, that was a no from me dawg. That's all, just spreading information.

    Yeah, I'm still on the fence about trying another air locker again. Im sure they can get it good, just like my front air locker. I just don't want to be the Guinea pig to see if the new seals fix the problem.

    Yeah I hear you there. Have you ever considered a mechanical locker for the rear? I have a powertrax and I don't know why I waited so long to get it. I like how simple it is. Don't need to worry about wires or air lines, and don't need to worry about remembering to engage it. Or I've been around people who let their ego get the best of them and want to try stuff without engaging the locker, like it's a sign of weakness (which is stupid) and no need to worry about that either. Has good on road manners too.

    I have, but I rather have a selectable locker so I don't have to worry about my wife when she's driving the kids around.

    I hear you there. I’ve been seeing seal issues for awhile now. Hopefully this new one fixes it for good.

    I was on the phone with ECGS and they said that soon. Last I heard it was suppose to be in march. I'm on the waiting list since january
