Those KC SB picks are fantastic, especially if you find one that's 13-14 years old. Definitely milk that one for as long as you can. Rumor has it that KC's barrel pick program is going to be slowing down to wait for stock to catch up, so keep that in mind in case you try it and love it - you may want to get a backup!

I'll try to keep that in mind the next time I'm back in KY. That's where I picked that one up. I miss the Liquor Barn stores back there. You could always rely on them to have some nice finds.

I reached out to 1792 asking if they could tell me some places in my area that were shipped the Sweet Wheat (I've really been wanting to try it) they sent me a list of grocery stores and 2 liquor stores that were sent some. I contacted them all, of course they are all sold out. But one of the local stores said that it is an item they can order in but it would be a week before they could get it....ummmmmm thats JUST fine!! :)

I was in a Rye mood and decided to open this Willet Family Estate Small Batch rye I've been holding onto for some time. I'd read mixed reviews so I was never in a hurry to open it, but decided it was time. It turned out to be very good!

YOU sir, have your priorities well in order!

Delicious! Salty, Smokey and peaty :)

I got to try this bad boy yesterday that I've heard some real rave reviews on. Sadly it was the last of the bottle and I think it may have been starting to turn. There was still enough there that I felt like I could tell what it should have been. But definitely left me wishing to try a fresh bottle instead.

Have you had the 4 year? Worth the $10 premium in my estimation, but that 3 year is still awesome.

Love the non-featured whiskies in that pic. I see the Monkey Shoulder peeking out.

    Which Compass Box is that?

I think I see a High West behind the Willett. Midwinter Night's Dram?

    Awesome spread of whiskey.

Ok. Next time I go down there I’ll let you know. It’s an hour away so I don’t go very often.
