Pink beer, one more import. Inspired by yet another mport, the Greater and Lesser (pink) flamingos in Kowloon Park today. Apparently it is spring, and the primary goal of the Greater and Lesser (pink) flamingos is to make more Greater and Lesser (pink) flamingos, a task they appear to take seriously and one which is accomplished with a great deal of noise and flying feathers.

My inspiration did not come with any amount of god sense; had I demonstrated even a modicum of prudence I would not have bought these in Kowloon. This morning. Instead, I would have gone to he Park n Shop downstairs when I returned to Tuen Mun and these - and the other four just like them - would be cold and ready to drink.

 

Isn’t my co-worker great: he has a cabin up north and he brings me back beer when goes up there!

I’m still looking for someone that wants to trade for Monkish. I know it’s a long shot but my buddy keeps telling me it’s a must try.

I found this juice bomb at the local grocery store today. It tastes like a hazy NEIPA but without the ABV. I’m a big fan.

Back at my hotel in Phuket, Thailand. Its 33C and 98% humidity....
Picked this up at the corner store down the block....one of the local offerings from Singha Brewing; ice cold, refreshing and nice and hoppy....a nice compromise for the evening since, for reasons that completely escape me, my wife won't let me talk to any of those nice young ladies offering massages.

 

I think the only person in this thread who ever gets monkish is @christyle and he has someone who works with him (I think is what he told me) who will bring him some.

I actually have 2 bottles of their Vellichor, one with raspberry and the other with boysenberry? From a couple years ago before they started down the hazebro game. But those will not be traded, sorry!

 

I missed that last line, oops. I've never waited in line for a monkish, but i've been to the taproom and my engineer would go when I didn't give him too much work like I do now I never really get there unfortunately. Despite what "antihazeboi" says, as far as a NEIPA goes, they're among the best i've had. Worth a try if you can get it.

 

I’m not looking for their rare stuff , just to try. I’m sure it’s good but I wouldn’t set up constant trades. There’s good beer everywhere.

Any hazy they put out is generally limited release and sold out really quick, so...it's all kind of "rare". They don't stock them, and they don't distribute them as far as I know, so it's hard to get. Part of the hype generating formula I guess, same with @uhplifted 's fav Bottle Logic in their early days

 

Believe me I would, but they're not close to me, and I take the train to work, so it'd be like a $60+ uber and taking off mid work day to get it. If I do....I'll get some extra for you.
