Best top has side windows, but everything I've read says that their construction and fitment isn't the greatest. Plus plastic windows have bad visibility anyways. I've gotten used to really double checking my blind spots and using the mirrors more extensively when i change lanes on the highway (as you should). Tan would look awesome with your copper ray 10s. I would still rock the hell out of those even though I have a lot black parts on the truck

As long as you're not in the middle of summer in florida or SoCal, you should be good then. I unbuttoned and folded the front flaps in to let fresh air in and a couple flaps in the back to keep a cool breeze as I drove and for him to stick his head through.

Yea, they have the windows but I don't think tan. I kinda have my heart set on a cap and just thought the soft top would be a cheap compromise. I do park in the city (public garage) where I work so I have that security issue to contend with though. I like my Bak Revolver because if the tailgate is locked, the tonneau won't open. So maybe I should stick to my cap idea.

Man you were not kidding about your top looking a different color out there on the trail!!!!!! Holy crap!!!!!!!!

I took some pics of my tonneau in preparation for selling it. I feel embarrassed seeing how you're actually using your truck.

Not bad looking for 22 months old. I use that 303 Protectant though.

Yeah if you're not hauling big things in the back a canopy would be best. I haul things that are larger than what a canopy can hold from time to time and it would be a PITA to take the canopy off each time. Just in the last couple month's I've hauled an elliptical exercise machine, my rear bumper on a pallet and some furniture that would have needed the cap to come off.

lol and no worries about not going wheeling. I don't wheel often, but when I do it's in some pretty gnarly stuff so I want to be prepared for it. Most of the time I'm mall crawlin'

Well, that's my dilemma. I rarely use the bed for hauling regularly except for taking our trash to the landfill. It's 7 bucks a load, and I go when I need to (in our case, with 4 55 gal trash cans, that's once every 1.5 months, including recycling, with just two of us). The other option is trash collection which is over 28 bucks a month (last time I checked a couple years ago). Of course you have to schlep the cans to the end of the driveway (1,600' away) in snow in the winter, or rain, or whatever, and deal with varmitts getting into it, then schlep the empty cans back up the driveway.

If I can plan to haul anything substantial I have a 16' tandem axle utility trailer. As a matter of fact I just installed my brake controller this weekend.

    Straight_On.jpg

So I am torn. I know there are times I wish I had more room for hauling things and keeping them outta the weather. But I did just buy a ground tent for overnight wheeling trips. But I also was thinking a cap might come in handy should I need to weather out a severe storm instead of pitching a tent.

I saw Taliban Tan with a Softtopper and a rack over it. It looked so good!

Will your P3 fit in the cubby space below, by your left knee? Or is it already occupied? (thats where I put my P3)

It would have but the thing is blocked by the steering wheel. I had to bob&weave to see it :D

I think the place it's at is much better. So much safer for use.

Thanks, that speaks volumes of the caliber of folks here at TW!
In all honesty, I was just trying to join the fun and didn't realize the OP said Inferno, I just saw the "Red."

I know I need to wash my truck, but were expecting more rain. I still had to clean the area and put on two decals that were shipped today.

I hope some of you will know what the symbol below means. I eventually want to get it incorporated into a custom TRD 4X4 OFF Road ------- -------- Edition bed decal. image1 - Copy.jpg

Thanks, my bedside decals are a take on a bedside decal that the OP @ST3VE from the Maryland thread has on his truck. He use to live near me, but has since moved south to the Carolinas where he spends most of his days fishing. I had a Tundra at the time, saw his truck one day at a gas station, knew I had to have decals like that. When I got the Taco it was a no brainer.

C'mon over and introduce yourself! We have a couple guys from Delaware and the Eastern Shore on the thread.

I agree. I've been on a lot of forums in my life and none can compare to this one. We're glad and lucky to have you on here!

No idea, then again I jumped out of planes and didn't shoot artillery.

It looks kinda like Star Wars.
