Show us your 32" tires with a 3" lift

Trying to decide If I want an OME 885 lift with new UCA's and 33's on stock TRD OR wheels for my access cab

or

OME 884 lift with 32's on stock TRD OR wheels.

How much lift do you have?
You have 885 and a top spacer? what size top spacer?

I like the stance of your truck, but it looks tall. Got my tires 265/70/17, just trying to finalize the lift, going with the 885 and their new shocks, not sure if I need top spacer, going for 2"- 2/12" of lift.

How are the 885's and ome shocks? alot stiffer?

I did a ton of searches and it was hard to find pictures. What made you decide to put 32's on instead of 33's?

 

Not OR wheels but 3" lift with 32" Mud Terrains

 

I have the OME 885's with the top plate spacer and 2" rear AAL's My tires are 285/65-18"s and they are technically supposed to be 33"s but they measure out to be more like 32.6"s. But you get the idea.

 

money if i had to do it over i would've saved a bit more and gotten 33"

 

So, with my limited knoweledge, this is what I see:

pros of 32's:
-dont have to trim
-dont need to buy new uca's or wheels
-get better gearing
-get better mileage
-get more power

cons:
-don't look as bad ass
-lose less than an inch of clearance

but IMO these all look pretty damn good with 32's and a lift...

 

OME Kit, 884s with top plate and rear AAL for TSB. Stock size tires right now, will be going to 265/75/16 when I need new ones.

 

Well if you go with a full 3"s, you still might need new UCA's and its actually preffered you get them so you can get your alignment back into specs.

 

are you happy that you got the 884?

 

yea i got their new sport shocks, 885 coils, and however big the top plate from the kit is, not sure how big it is. i think i have a bit over 3in, maybe just a tiny bit over. for 2-2.5 you definitely don't need the spacer, 885 coils will get you about 2.5-2.75 or so

as far as the ride, it's pretty good, tiny bit rougher than stock but extremely smooth on the interstate and when airing down for wheeling? man, like a damn cloud

 

Yeah, I am happy with how it sits. Level. I didn't need UCAs so I sold the LR pair I had purchased to a member on here. The ride is firm, but I like it like that.

 

From what I have read, 884 coils on a v6 access cab with out spacers should only lift it about 2". If that is the case (can anyone confirm this?), would there still be a need for new uca's?

 

5100's and TSB on stocks, just to give a comparison...

 

I am at 2.5" or so with 884 and top plate. Plenty for my needs.

 

Oh if your only going 2"s in the front you shouldnt need new UCA's.

 

eh, lots of guys don't have UCAs..sure your truck wanders and yea it's not completely in alignment spec but i don't see a need for it. after a few days driving it you get very used to it and i'm not about to go spend $900 to stop the truck from wiggling a tiny bit
