I know they're designed to break off at that connector because of dingbats like this lady but yeah I dunno what it costs to set it back up again.

The gas hoses are designed to breakaway, you're supposed to get them re-certified or something after they break off but I've heard of some attendants who just snap them back into the pump.

Ive pissed off my dad more than once for digging random holes. Then he built me a sandbox. Only used it for like one summer before I got bored of trucks lol.

I just read an article about it saying that some stations let it go while others charge anywhere from $300 to $3k in damages...guess it depends on the pump and how it's designed/how bad the damage is as well as how forgiving the gas station owner may or may not be. Apparently most auto insurance will cover it

Some stations make you pay for it. And some times insurance will cover it sometimes not. Atleast from what i heard

Great...wanted to work on my truck today and repaint my sliders after work but we have a windstorm. 50-70mph gusts until tomorrow morning. Don't think that's ideal for rattle canning
