Today it was nice and warm and my truck was sitting out in the sun so I used that opportunity peel-off off the B pillar black stickers. I think the truck looks a lot better with the black stickers removed. The stickers came off easy enough. The side that was towards the sun came off a lot easier and left a lot less sticky residue. But both sides came off easy though. I used Goo be gone to get rid of the sticky residue. There wasn't a lot of sticky residue.

How long do you think you have to do this? I keep going back and fourth in my head doing that with my 2017 MGM, I think it looks great but would hate to have the paint faded. I'm sure I'm just over thinking things with it being less than three years old. Any input would be great.

I've only had my truck for about a half a year or so. That is one of the reasons why I wanted to do it sooner rather than later just in case there might be some slight fading. However with modern paint I don't think it would be much to worry about. The actual operation did not take very long at all. However the side that was heated up in the sun was definitely easier.
I have an SR and recently I got all of my windows tinted at 35%. I think the; tint-black stickers-tint, looked really crappy.

Exactly how I feel, I got mine to all match the factory 20% and that middle part instantly killed it. Perhaps I'll just do the next sunny day we get here. Looks great!

Ain't it funny how people's fashion tastes are so different? Here I was wondering if I wanted to add the blackened B pillars on my Silver SR5 Access cab. Probably ain't gonna', but I have thought about it.

Hey man that's the beauty of it being YOUR truck. Do whatever you think looks cool. Hell I honestly didn't even notice mine until I read on here a while back that it was in fact just a vinyl strip. Then it had me thinking... Lol

Was thinking about this too. Has anybody done this on the MGM Color? I would like to see it.

I’m in Raleigh, come on over with a six pack, we can peel the sticker off mine, and put it on yours! ;)

How about posting a side view photo of yours, so I'd have an idea what it'd look like. I haven't actually seen one.

Lol, same thought. I had to pull up a pic of my truck to confirm that yes, there are.

Yes, I was too lazy to get up, go outside, and check. Don't you dare judge me.

Hmmmmm, there's something just a little off to me with the B-pillar vinyl missing. It makes the truck style look 'older' to me if that makes sense. It's so interesting how a little piece of vinyl can make such a difference.

Y’all taking vinyl off and I’m adding it. If my B wasn’t done I’d of already done it. And the great thing about it is there’s no wrong answer. I added tailgate strips and liked them the day I did em and pulled them off at work the next morning, just didn’t flow right.
