Right they are in the plate, but from being handled roughly 2 of the bolts poked thru the box and came off and are gone.

I take my ratchet set with me and hand the license plate frames back. The last sales guy didn’t understand what I was doing that for lol. He was new

Should have bought a Pro shift knob to shed 0.5 off my 0-60 time.

That might add 0.5 secs to the 60 time.

Me too. Dealer said he got over 200 orders starting at 1am. They must have known those skids would be hot cause he said they went through 4 pallets of them and still had a bunch of orders to fill including mine.

Has anyone else with the 3rd gen pro skid tried putting it on the 2nd gen? I am trying to do just this, but the bolts that came with the skid are obviously much larger diameter than my stock ones. Looking like i just need some different bolts, but wondering if anyone else encountered this?

Havent tried putting it on. I had my other skid off last weekend, and i can tell the bolts are significantly bigger. I was under the impression this thing would bolt right up too.

Heres a pic of the bolt near the oil door. I am about to go pull one of the bolts off the truck and take a pic to compare

Heres one of the bolts that came out of my 2nd gen (left) the one on the right is what came with the skid, fkn yuge. Gonna contact the dealer tomorrow and ask them to send me the right hardware..

Can someone with a 3rd gen please confirm which one of these two size bolts your truck uses for the skid? Obviously the one on the left is much shorter, bolt diameter is what i am after here.

    Thanks a bunch man!

Had no idea that the bolts for the bracing had to be removed. That makes much more sense as those bolts are beef!

The 17mm bolts are definitely an upgrade like you said. Those are the same kind that are used to hold on the receiver hitch on my truck, not sure if its different on the 3rd gens though

I had the same thing happen on my skid plate. The rear end was sticking out of the box and one bolt was missing and it look like the delivery guy found another bolt and shoved it back in the hole that was in the box. The dealer is sending me a new hardware kit. They said they had a few people call and tell them that part of the hardware was missing on theirs too.
