Rubbing on the plastic fender flares and the inner plastic wheel lining. I spent a total of 5 mins with a dremel and a cutting wheel attachment trimming so now it'll rub al 90% to full lock, which I can live with until the weekend and I get to trimming more and/or using the heat gun to push back the inner fender plastics.

Sweet! How’s the ride, I’m thinking on going this route with mine! I was leaning towards a small spacer but the Sport suspension is pretty firm as it is.

Honestly, I can't tell much difference in the ride at all. Under hard braking, the truck no longer nose-dives with the Bilstein's. It definitely sits higher but as far as the ride I would say not a noticeable difference.

Good to know, sounds like I’d be much happier going that route rather than spacers. Thanks !

Which front spacer did you use for this, and also what size tires are you running?

I remember stalking this thread a lot when I first got my tacoma, looking for what kind of lift I wanted. So I guess I came full circle haha.

Have Bilstein 5100's front/rear set at 4th notch, 1/4" top plate spacer & 1.5" AAL with overload left in. So it's approximately 2" all around give or take. Only posting cuz it seems like some folks are interested in a 2" front and 2" rear lift as well.

I need to take new pics haha.

I installed the Rough Country 1” spacer to achieve 2” of lift. I’m running 265/75r16 BFG KO2s. I’ll be putting the rear 1” block on tomorrow.

Thanks! Did you install a diff drop as well? If not, any needle bearing problems yet?

I also used a rough country spacer and 1” block in rear. No problems so far what so ever.

Do you have pics? Sorry for all the questions... just bought a camper shell for my Tacoma today and the mod flood gates are broken. Looking to lift/level now.

No, I have no plans at all to install a diff drop. I also have no issues with my needle bearing. I feel like you’re overthinking it for only 2 inches of lift. It’s a very mild setup.

More like over researching lol. It seems like everyone on here has issues with their needle bearing after doing anything to the front end of their truck.

The way I see it, if it happens it happens if it doesn’t it doesn’t. I can always worry about it after it happens but I don’t worry about things that are not yet problems.
